A great big dose of Happy Monday morning to you!! Today is the day when I share a weekly menu with you to help get your dinner meal time off to a great start. Planning is key for success in so many areas in our life and for me meal planning is life changing. When we were stationed in California, we lived a little over an hour from the nearest big commissary, so we would make a day trip once a month for our grocery shopping. I would plan out 30 days of meals, then make a big huge shopping list of ingredients. After hubby retired from the Army, we settled down in a small town in Ohio and once again over an hour drive from the nearest base. I continued my monthly meal planning until more recently when hubby went back on active duty and this time we lived right on post. Since we are within a few miles of our commissary, I can now plan our meals on a weekly basis. Yay! So lets get started with this week’s meal plan.
- Creamy Salsa Verde Chicken & Spanish Rice
- Jack Daniels Double Kick Pork Chops, Red Mashed Potatoes
- Taco Casserole & Salad
- Burgers & Fries, Carrot Sticks
- Cuban Sandwiches, Fresh Fruit
- Cashew Chicken & Lo Mein Noodles
- GO! (Go out)
